The "Turnkey S" is the smallest ready-to-use machine for laser welding of plastics. With its flexibility based by modularity, it is unique on the market in its compact size. The "Turnkey M" complements the compact Turnkey S for larger plastic parts.
The compact table-top machine "Turnkey S" can weld plastic parts up to a maximum of 100x150 mm. To track the welding contour, various optics are attached to xyz motion axes or the beam is deflected with a galvo scanner.
Depending on the parts to weld, the clamping unit can be configured with different heights and equipped with additional sensors for collapse path or clamping force measurement.
The plastic parts can be handled into the Turnkey S via a drawer or a rotary indexing table. Between welds, only a small lift door is opened to feed the components in and out. To set up a welding recipe in Turnkey S, the front machine cover can be lifted to give good access to the welding area.
The welding process is set in an easy-to-understand user interface on a touch screen. An additional keyboard or mouse can optionally be connected via the USB ports, or data carriers can be used to exchange welding recipe or process data.
An HDMI connector can also be used to connect an additional larger screen to the Turnkey system.
The Turnkey S can also be connected to an Ethernet network for data exchange or remote maintenance via the Internet.
The larger workstation "Turnkey M" is based on the same modules as the "Turnkey S" and offers the same functionalities as the Turnkey S. The Turnkey M can weld parts up to 470x470 mm with axes system and up to 350x350 mm with scanner.
The laser and control system are housed in the base of the workstation so that accessibility in the welding area to the clamping unit, motion system and optics can be optimally ensured in the upper section of the Turnkey M.
The large 22-inch touchscreen monitor allows ergonomic operation in the graphical user interface.
For feeding the workpieces, the Turnkey M can be configured with a drawer or rotary indexing table.
The "Modula" components for special machine building complement the two ready-to-use Turnkey machines if the possible configurations for S and M do not fit or fully automatic production is desired. For an integration of laser welding, the Modula laser and control unit and an optics are minimally required. But also the motion system (scanner or axes) as well as the clamping unit can be supplied by ProByLas.
