Production technologies, processes and materials for the medical engineering sector: the combination of shows, forums, workshops and networking promises valuable business contacts and provides forward-looking impulses. We are giving Medtech.plus users free admission to the premiere of T4M.
From 7 to 9 May 2019, the medical technology industry will present its products and solutions from the areas of manufacturing technology, production environment, services, components and materials. Visitors representing the purchasing, production, design, product management departments as well as R&D and business development will benefit from the comprehensive information offer, and have the opportunity to make new contacts.
Trade fair and accompanying programme under one roof
T4M offers an attractive accompanying programme with a mix of forums, workshops, guided tours and networking, and therefore promises to be more than just a trade fair. The agenda includes in particular topics such as MDR, smart production and digitalisation, with a clear focus on material, manufacture and production. The "everything under one roof" concept of T4M will allow visitors to see all the diverse offers without having to walk long distances.
Medical Device Regulation in focus
Medical Device Regulation is currently the top theme in the medical technology industry. In view of the approaching deadlines, MDR is also a top priority on the agenda at T4M. The trade fair will start already upon its opening with a Medical Device Regulation dialogue on "STAGE BLUE" in the trade fair hall, and, together with Tuttlinger Cluster MedicalMountains, has invited representatives from politics and business. Additional know-how will be provided by lawyer Miriam Schuh in her keynote speech and a workshop organised by MedicalMountains. Also during the following days, MDR will be examined in the various presentations on the forum stages. Anyone looking for answers and an exchange of ideas on Medical Device Regulation will quickly find what they want in Stuttgart.
Trends determine the future of medical technology
At the "T4M Start-up World", on three trade fair days around 60 start-ups will present themselves with innovative solutions for medicine and medical technology at their trade fair stands. On the connected pitching stage, the young companies, researchers and developers will present their future visions and concepts to a specialist jury consisting of investors, members of the medical technology industry and start-up experts for the areas of diagnostics, imaging, production technology, rehabilitation, homecare and clinics. Representatives from research and development will obtain new impulses and are invited to join the discussions in the free workshops on the themes of "smart health", "bio-intelligence" and much more.
Challenges and approaches to solutions for purchasing in medical technology
Interested persons from the areas of global sourcing, material group management, technical and strategic purchasing, as well as supply chain management, will benefit in several ways from the cooperation between the Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e.V. (BME) (Federal Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics) and T4M – in addition to the specialist forum including guided tour on the second trade fair day, on the third trade fair day there will be a workshop with group activities and interactive discussions. Independently of that, the "Buyers Lounge" will invite visitors to take part in an intensive exchange of ideas and opinions with specialist colleagues on all three trade fair days.
