For more than 60 years, SAMAPLAST AG has been manufacturing sterile, end-packaged medical products for international customers under the highest clean room conditions using the plastic injection molding process. The product range extends from dental parts and catheter connections to long-term implants (PEEK cages) and absorbable implants.
For the worldwide global distribution of the products, SAMAPLAST AG is certified according to EN ISO 13485 certified or registered with the FDA, ANVISA, JPAL.
SAMAPLAST AG based in St. Margrethen (CH) processes thermoplastics such as PEEK, PSU, PEI, PPS, TPE, PC, POM, ABS, PP, PE and polylactides into plastic parts.
Validated processes such as final rinsing with HPW water, laser marking, ultrasonic welding, tempering, gluing, sterile final packaging and sterilization with gamma, X-ray or ETO are the range of services.
In order to check the quality of the parts, we have in-house multi-sensor 3D measuring machines and a computer tomograph, among others.
Since 2018, SAMAPLAST AG has been producing prototypes and medical products (e.g. from PCU, polylactides) in additive manufacturing using Arburg Freeformers, Kumovis PEEK printers or Stratsys 3D printers. And that under controlled conditions in an ISO 8 clean room (in operation) and in a certified environment according to ISO/ASTM 52920 (formerly DIN/SPEC 17071).
During the course of the trade fair, you can convince yourself of the performance of our Arburg Freeformer on site and see how we produce an additive manufacturing part from resomer (polylactide) at our stand.
