The AM Expo and Swiss Medtech Expo came to a successful close today, Wednesday 13 September 2023. 250 exhibitors showed innovative products and services from additive manufacturing and medical technology to 3,600 visitors over two days. Compared to the last edition, an increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors was achieved. The conclusion drawn by exhibition manager Sara Bussmann was correspondingly positive: «We are very satisfied with the development of the two exhibitions and are pleased with the great interest. We also had the pleasure of welcoming many visitors from neighbouring countries.» The fairs provided an ideal platform for the exchange of knowledge and enabled numerous networking opportunities from which both exhibitors and visitors could benefit. «You can feel how important trade fairs are for the industry. AM Expo and Swiss Medtech Expo were the meeting places to exchange ideas, get information and be inspired,» says Sara Bussmann.
High visitor quality and good conversations
The exhibitors were also satisfied with the two days of the fair. «As an exhibitor, you feel extremely comfortable and can benefit from a high-quality trade audience. The topics and trends that concern us are ideally addressed at the Swiss Medtech Expo,» says Dr Bernd Block, Sector Manager Medical Technology at Trumpf Laser- und Systemtechnik GmbH. Reshat Mahmudi from Sintratec AG also draws a positive conclusion: «We were able to have many good discussions with representatives from different industries who want to get to know 3D printing. This resulted in a very exciting exchange. We are very satisfied with our appearance.»
Digital opportunities generate great interest
In addition to the stands at the fair, the exhibitors also presented themselves on the two fair websites with articles on innovations, products and services. 8,500 people found out about the exhibitors' offers online before and during the fair. «With their online presence, the exhibitors were able to show visitors what they had to offer at the fair and thus attract them to their stands. Both exhibitors and visitors benefited from an efficient trade fair experience,» explains Sara Bussmann. After the two trade fairs, interested parties can continue to find out about the latest in additive manufacturing and medical technology. The digital platforms «Additively» and «Medtech.plus» continuously publish exciting content - 365 days a year.
The next AM Expo and Swiss Medtech Expo will take place from 16 to 17 September 2025.
